Foundation (Years 7, 8, and 9)
Focused on providing a good Cambridge foundation to secondary education, our Foundation Courses range from Year 7 to Year 9 offering skills development and confident content learning. These courses are comparable to South African grades 7 to 9. Aligned to prepare our students for their future studies in the coming years, our BIDC courses at the Foundation Level expose students to the Cambridge standard early on.
At Foundation Levels, we offer:

- Mathematics
- Combined Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Second languages (local and foreign)
- Computing skills
- Humanities, and subject integration
IGCSE 01 (Core) and IGCSE 02 (Extended)
Comparable to South African grades 10 and 11, we have courses offered at IGCSE levels, both Core and Extended, aligning to the IGCSE Cambridge Syllabi. We have a select number of courses that are offered over two years, allowing students enough time to prepare for their Cambridge Exams.
At IGCSE Levels, we offer:

- Language and Humanities
AS Level (Grade 12)
At BIDC, we offer courses right up to AS Level. This twelfth year of education is comparable to South Africa’s grade 12 or matric year. Our AS Level courses are developed to cover the Cambridge AS Level Syllabus, while still providing independent study.
At AS Level, we offer:

- Commerce
- Arts
- Language and Humanities
Our courses are complete guides through the Cambridge pathways. All the required course material is provided upfront upon purchase of the course, with additional student support provided throughout the academic year.
