Admission into South African Universities

In South Africa, achieving high marks in selectively chosen Cambridge International A Level subjects can potentially earn you up to a year’s worth of credit towards university courses.

More than 26 public universities and 115 private higher education institutions in South Africa recognise Cambridge International AS and A Levels.

Studies have investigated whether Cambridge International AS and A Levels effectively forecast preparedness and sustained academic achievement at South African universities. Multiple research endeavours indicate that the Cambridge programme stands out favourably when compared to other globally recognised acceleration programmes.
